Database Administrator, Mid The Opportunity: On our team, you'll be responsible for installation, configuration, upgrades, administration, monitoring, and maintenance of multiple databases, including maintaining existing databases, monitoring, and improving database performance for future expansion requirements. You'll use technology and tools like SQL Server, Yellowbrick, and AWS S3 to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical database. In this role, you'll support critical law enforcement missions by ensuring the stability and reliability of the system's databases.

You Have: • Experience in the day-to-day operation, maintenance, installation, management, and troubleshooting of large-scale Microsoft SQL and PostgreSQL databases • Experience in the creation and optimization of stored procedures, modeling of databases, and utilizing third-party tools, such as Red Gate • Top Secret clearance • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Development and 2+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or 8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
