Database Administrator III

Are you ready to join a growing team? CTG is seeking a Database Administrator III to join a dynamic team supporting critical applications. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex RDBMS projects, optimize database performance, and mentor junior team members.

Location: Remote Duration: 6 months What You’ll Do: • Lead database design, development, and optimization for small to large/complex projects. • Manage RDBMS integration, archiving, recovery, and production support. • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring for team members.

• Collaborate with application teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure system reliability and compliance. • Identify and implement new database technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. • Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and project assessments.

What We’re Looking For: • 6+ years RDBMS experience (or 8+ years combined education/work experience, including RDBMS). • Experience with database enhancements, conversions, and production problem resolution. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, banking application experience, and mastery of RDBMS tools/functions. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
