Entry-Level Network Engineer Geauga County ADP/Data Department Chardon, Ohio | Full-time, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. About the Role The Geauga County ADP/Data Department is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Network Engineer to join our technology team.

This position offers a hands-on opportunity to work with a variety of network systems, hardware, and software while supporting the integrity, performance, and security of the County's network infrastructure. You'll gain valuable experience in a professional IT environment—configuring network equipment, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and assisting with infrastructure projects that impact daily operations across county departments. Key Responsibilities • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Monitor and maintain network performance, availability, and documentation. • Support wired and wireless user connectivity and resolve network-related incidents. • Assist with the implementation of network upgrades, changes, and security measures.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers to maintain reliable network services. • Participate in disaster recovery planning and network continuity testing. • Provide Tier 2 support for escalated technical issues involving network and hardware systems.
