Junior UI/UX Designer job at Tresume and Asta CRS. Reston, VA. Job Description Job Description Role Summary The UX/UI Designer is a critical role responsible for enhancing the overall user experience and designing intuitive and visually appealing interface.

This role requires a deep understanding of both user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles, with a focus on how a product looks, feels, and flows for users. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) space or have worked with Enterprise solutions. User Experience (UX) Design • Conduct user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and pain points of our users.

• Develop user personas, user journeys, and wireframes to define the structure and flow of the product. • Ensure that the product is intuitive and easy to navigate, with buttons and elements placed logically. User Interface (UI) Design • Design visually appealing and cohesive interfaces that align with our brand identity.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes to illustrate design concepts. • Collaborate with developers to ensure the final product matches the design specifications. Collaboration • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product managers, developers, and other designers, to understand requirements and incorporate feedback.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve design quality. • Ensure alignment between UX and UI design, maintaining a consistent look and feel across the product. Usability Testing • Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing results. • Advocate for the user experience and ensure that user needs are prioritized in the design process. Design Documentation • Maintain comprehensive design documentation, including style guides, design systems, and component libraries.
• Ensure that design assets are organized and accessible to the development team. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise • 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, within Project and Program Management or enterprise solutions. • Strong portfolio showcasing UX/UI design work, including user research, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar. • Excellent understanding of design principles, including layout, color theory, typography, and accessibility. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
