1st or 2nd Shift Maintenance Tech (mechanic) An international food company is seeking a qualified Maintenance Tech and Skilled Maintenance Mechanic who has tech certificate background or equivalent (2 openings). Entry Level : 2nd Shift, 6 months+ experience Skilled Level: 1st Shift, 3 years+ experience • *Please contact for the name of the company*** More than 80years of history and sold at major grocery store chains. Location: Somerset, New Jersey Direct Hire/ Non-Exempt Title: Maintenance Tech and Skilled Maintenance Mechanic SHIFT HOURS: Maintenance Tech: 2nd Shift: 7:00am - 4:00 pm, Monday & Wednesday - Saturday (Tuesday and Sunday off, including 1 hour unpaid meal break), During probation Mon to Fri 2:00pm to 11:00pm Overtime is required Skilled Maintenance Mechanic: 1st shift: 7:00am-4:00pm, Monday & Wednesday - Saturday (Tuesday and Sunday off, including 1 hour unpaid meal break), During probation 8:00am - 5:00pm if possible Overtime is required Salary: Maintenance Tech: 6 months to 2 years : $21-23/hr DOE Skilled Maintenance Mechanic: 3 years + : $23-25/hr DOE Great benefits: Medical/ Dental/ Vision (100% covered for employee and family for basic plan), Life Insurance, Vacation, Sick Leave, Holiday, 401K Entry Level Maintenance Tech - Job Description • Follow safety rules and pay attention to safety maintenance work • Ensure operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance requirements • Read and comply with work orders , and other departments requests • Improve equipment condition and efficiency • Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
