Overview We are seeking a skilled Miscellaneous Metals Erector/Welder to join our team on construction sites. This role involves fabricating, welding, and installing various metal structures and components with precision and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, welding techniques, blueprint reading, and mechanical assembly.

This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require technical expertise and attention to detail in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements. • Perform MIG, TIG, SMAW analysis welding, and welding according to industry standards such as ASME codes & standards.

Use hand tools, power tools, and machines for fabrication and assembly tasks. • Operate cranes, forklifts, rigging equipment, and machining tools safely to move materials and assemble structures. • Measure and mark materials accurately for cutting, welding, or assembly using basic math skills.
Assemble fabricated parts following detailed instructions while maintaining quality control standards. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations. • Assist in the installation of structural steel, or other miscellaneous metals on-site.

Experience • Construction site experience preferred with a solid understanding of safety procedures. • Proven MIG welding and TIG welding skills; SMAW experience is a plus. • Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical drawings.

Experience operating cranes, forklifts, plasma cutters, press brakes, and other fabrication machinery. • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards related to welding and fabrication practices. • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and rigging equipment effectively.
Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes. • Prior experience in manufacturing or structural steel fabrication is advantageous but not mandatory. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of working in fast-paced environments while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship standards.
