ABOUT THE ROLE As Ramp continues to scale, our ability to underwrite, manage risk, and finance our growth is critical. We are seeking an exceptional product leader to own our risk platform roadmap. As part of the product team, you will define and evolve our end-to-end risk product vision, strategy and execution by leading a core team of engineers and designers to build amazing products for our customers.

This will require partnership and collaboration across various internal teams (especially finance and risk), a deep understanding of our customers, and the ability to deliver financial products and streamline complex business flows via a fantastic user experience. Please note that this Product Management role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at one of our NYC or SF offices at least 2 days/week WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own Ramp's risk product roadmap, focusing on our application experience and risk management systems - Improve how Ramp evaluates risk and builds the infrastructure to scale to hundreds of thousands of businesses across the US - Drive product development by working closely with engineering, design, and various customer-facing teams - Define and establish metrics that allow insights into the success of our products - Use data and customer feedback to constantly iterate and evolve our product offering - Deliver industry-leading products and user experiences by combining business acumen with creative product strategy - Contribute to the vision, strategy, and processes that allow Ramp to scale the product management function at various stages of growth WHAT YOU NEED - BA/BS in a technical or analytical field - Minimum of either: - 5 years of product management experience - 3 years of product management experience and 1+ year of experience as an engineer or data (applied) scientist - Experience managing software products from ideation to launch - including managing the product vision, day-to-day prioritization, design, and go-to-market strategy - Demonstrated ability to lead and influence small teams of engineers and designers towards a common goal - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to evaluate product decisions and trade-offs while being hyper-focused on delivering value for our customers - Comfortable using large datasets and leveraging insights to make decisions NICE-TO-HAVES - Experience in high-growth startups - Experience building products with significant AI component, bonus if leveraging LLMs - Experience building in problem spaces requiring complex systems thinking like marketplace optimization, ads tech, etc BENEFITS (FOR U.S.-BASED FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES) - 100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you - Partially covered for your dependents - One Medical annual membership - 401k (including employer match on contributions made while employed by Ramp) - Flexible PTO - Fertility HRA (up to $10,000 per year) - Parental Leave - Pet insurance - Centralized home-office equipment ordering for all employees - Health and Wellness stipend - In-office perks: lunch, snacks, drinks, and more - Budget for intra-office travel - Relocation support to NYC or SF (as needed) REFERRAL INSTRUCTIONS If you are being referred for the role, please contact that person to apply on your behalf.
