Responsibilities • Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand tools and power tools • Support framing, trim carpentry, siding installation, and door hanging tasks with precision and care • Prepare construction sites by setting up scaffolding, handling heavy lifting, and organizing materials • Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure accurate execution • Help with concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as needed on various projects • Maintain a clean work environment by clearing debris and ensuring tools are properly stored • Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and promote a secure work site Experience • Prior experience in construction or carpentry is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is advantageous • Experience reading blueprints or schematics enhances your ability to contribute effectively • Knowledge of roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, or cabinetry is a plus • Previous work on construction sites or in restoration industry environments demonstrates reliability and adaptability • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physical demands of the role is essential • Basic understanding of electrical experience, plumbing, or water damage restoration can be beneficial for diverse project support This role is designed for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in the construction industry.
