A Quick Overview As an Automotive Technician Apprentice, you'll be trained to become a skilled auto glass technician. Upon successful completion of our comprehensive training program, you'll earn the Safelite SafeTech certification and gain essential skills for performing glass repair, replacement, and recalibration independently. Your Responsibilities • Receive paid training through hands-on experience and classroom instruction. • Observe and assist with auto glass installations and repairs. • Learn to recalibrate automotive safety systems, troubleshoot, and conduct diagnostic testing.

• Provide customers with additional services and products. • Study and pass assessments to become a certified Safelite Technician. • Operate company and customer vehicles safely, alongside using essential tools and chemicals.
• Complete other assigned duties as needed. • Adhere to all company policies and standards. What We Offer • Competitive weekly pay beginning at $23.50/hour, increasing to $27.75/hour after training and certification.

• Access to all tools and resources needed for your success. Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent preferred. • Valid state-issued driver's license and any other required licenses.
• Must be 18 years of age or older. Skills and Abilities • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. • Comfortable standing for extended periods, working in tight spaces, and bending/twisting the body.
• Capable of safely using a variety of hand and power tools. • Skills to operate a motor vehicle legally and safely. • Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Able to handle and work with various chemicals safely. • Flexibility in work schedules to meet customer needs.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot independently and collaboratively. • Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting English and technical directions. • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
