Entry Level CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist Dunaway is looking to add a team member who's early in their machining career, enjoys a good laugh now and then, and wants to be a valued part of our team culture (including employee events, team outings, etc.) This individual will assist with taking a drawing and raw stock and work under guidance to machine the part to print. They will be expected to learn and begin to develop knowledge of G-code and the HAAS control panel, with support and training provided. The machines are from around the 2014 era.

Job Duties To Grow To Independently set up, program, and machine parts to drawing specifications. Working knowledge of G code and conversational programming. Working knowledge of machining steel and flame‐cut parts.

Knowledge of how to machine with high‐speed inserts. Read and understand drawings to ensure all requirements are met. Ensure all parts are checked for dimensional accuracy and quality before completing a job.

Ability to also operate other manual equipment (vertical and horizontal boring mills, lathes, etc). Required Experience Graduate of a formal training program Up to 5 years' experience in manual machining Up to 3 years of CNC programming and operating of a HAAS panel Work environment Climate controlled, clean shop Exposure to moving mechanical parts Schedule M‐F 7AM to 3:30PM No mandatory OT or weekends, but OT is offered when possible Pay – based on experience About Dunaway Dunaway is a family oriented company that values our employee's time both at work and at home.
