This role supports diagnostic testing while maintaining patient trust, specimen integrity, and strict adherence to quality, safety, and confidentiality standards. Primary Duties & Responsibilities• Perform daily phlebotomy activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.

• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures. • Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing with skill and precision. • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies.
• Ensure a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment at all times. • Demonstrate leadership behaviors with a strong focus on confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. • Promote a positive organizational image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Skills & QualificationsRequired Skills• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections. • Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision.

• Strong customer service and communication skills. • Keyboarding and data entry proficiency. Preferred Skills• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training. Additional Requirements• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as required. • New York State credential/license required.

Education & Experience• Required: High school diploma or equivalent. • Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA). • Experience: – Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.

– One (1)+ year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
