Job Type Full-time Description The Maintenance Technician will perform a variety of semi-skilled and/or skilled tasks in maintenance and repair of facility equipment. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Technician is an entry-level position that maintains the facility and equipment to a safe, high efficiency and quality level and contributes to the sites overall strategic direction. He/she conducts preventative maintenance on equipment and ensures the proper stock of parts.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Work safely and adhere to established safety principles and practices • Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment based on the PM program. o Tasks assigned by manager based on abilities. • Assist in the installation of new equipment • Maintain equipment to maximize efficiency o Knife Sharpening o Dock Seals, Brushes and Exterior Doors o Refrigeration and Evaporator Cleaning o Friday PM's - Basic Equipment § Conveyors § Belt Conditions § Electrical connections • Perform machinery repairs in a safe, efficient manner • Other assignments as required, within job scope and abilities by the Maintenance Manager • Perform repairs and PM's and document to meet food safety standards for a food production facility Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent GED; technical school a plus • Two years of journey-level experience • Valid Driver's License • Ability to perform semi-skilled and skilled maintenance, construction, and repair work in the area of work assigned • Ability to diagnose problems and find solutions • Mechanical mindset with the ability to think outside the box • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and other departments • Ability to work effectively in the absence of close supervision • Ability to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment in a safe and effective manner • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cold-temperature environment • Experience working on processing machinery in the foodservice industry is a plus • Understand and comply with all safety regulations, as well as relevant policies and procedures.

Ability to maintain regular attendance • Ability to work overtime, as warranted by business needs • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
