Maintenance Technician

Description The Maintenance Technician shall support the overall quality and maintenance of rental properties in accordance with company standards. The technician shall work closely with Property Managers to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and property functionality. Requirements • Respond to guest issues (assigned work order) regarding maintenance, as needed including but not limited to: • * Appliance troubleshooting • Cable/Wifi troubleshooting • Basic HVAC repair • Light plumbing • Basic electrical knowledge.

• Paint, clean, and troubleshoot repairs inside homes. • Drywall, and basic carpentry skills. • * Ensure that repairs and work orders are completed to company quality standards.
• Assist with high-priority or sensitive maintenance calls involving guest and homeowner concerns. • Respond to emergency maintenance issues outside of regular business hours as needed. • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance practices comply with local regulations and safety standards. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in facilities management, construction management, or related field preferred. • Proven experience in property maintenance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and kneeling during inspections and maintenance tasks. • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights safely.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to operate tools and equipment effectively. • Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, or rain, while performing outdoor maintenance. • Capacity to perform physical tasks that require strength, stamina, and flexibility, such as lifting heavy objects, crawling in tight spaces, and performing repairs in awkward positions.
• Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for safety, including gloves, goggles, and respiratory protection. • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. • Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
