Position Overview As an Automotive Technician Apprentice, you will undergo comprehensive training to become a skilled auto glass technician. Upon successful completion of our training program, you will earn the Safelite SafeTech certification and acquire essential skills to perform glass repairs, replacements, and recalibrations independently.

Key Responsibilities • Participate in hands-on and classroom training to learn the Safelite method. • Assist in installing and repairing auto glass while observing best practices.

• Learn to recalibrate automotive safety systems, troubleshoot issues, and conduct diagnostic tests. • Study and pass assessments to demonstrate proficiency as a Safelite-certified Technician. • Safely operate both company and customer vehicles, along with the necessary tools and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned, adhering to all company policies and standards. What We Offer • Competitive pay starting at $25.50/hour, increasing to $30.25/hour upon certification. • Earn extra by adding wiper blades for customer safety.

• Paid training, and access to all essential tools and resources for your success. Qualifications • High school diploma or GED preferred. • Valid state-issued driver’s license is required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older. • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally. • Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools safely. • Strong communication skills, both oral and written. This position may require additional qualifications to ensure compliance with local laws and Safelite policies.
