Software Engineer (Associate - Mid Level)

Overview Location: Arlington at our wonderful G2 Ops office. Work Setting: In person, some remote opportunity, and/or flexible working hours, not a fully remote position. Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 plus comprehensive benefits package.

Years of Industry Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience. Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain Active DoD Secret Clearance level. Where you make an impact: For this opportunity, we are seeking a highly motivated, team-oriented Software Engineer.

This exciting position will have the chance to work on nearly every aspect related to Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), cybersecurity systems analysis, and risk management automation supporting the U.S. Navy’s AEGIS Weapon System. What does this mean to you?

• Experience developing and refining large-scale database and application software systems • Proven ability to mature MBSE-enabled cyber vulnerability assessment and RMF compliance automation features • Experience with configuration and baseline management techniques that automate baseline control and facilitate rapid engineering change validation • Ability to design, configure, and obtain authorization for secure model-based engineering environments • Familiarity with developing interface management automation techniques for rapid interoperability evaluation • Knowledge of analytical report and dashboard development for baseline and vulnerability data visualization • Strong understanding of software testing, debugging, and documentation best practices • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field Why G2 Ops What makes someone choose one company over another? Let's talk salary. The annual salary range for this position is $85,000 and goes up to $120,000, based on your qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package and have fringe benefits offered throughout the year.
