Overview As an Automotive Technician Apprentice, you will receive hands-on training to become a skilled auto glass technician.

Upon completing our comprehensive training program, you will earn the Safelite SafeTech certification, enabling you to perform glass repairs, replacements, and recalibrations independently. We value a can-do attitude and a commitment to exceptional customer service, ensuring our customers receive timely and high-quality service. Your Responsibilities • Learn the Safelite way through a combination of hands-on experience and classroom training.

• Assist in the installation and repair of auto glass. • Recalibrate automotive safety systems while troubleshooting and conducting diagnostic tests. • Study and prepare for certification as a Safelite Technician, demonstrating proficiency in installations.
• Safely operate company vehicles and utilize necessary tools and chemicals effectively. • Complete other assigned duties and adhere to all company policies and standards. What We Offer • Competitive starting pay of $20.25/hour, increasing to $24.00/hour after training and certification.

• A valid driver’s license to operate a company vehicle is required. • Must be at least 18 years old. Skills Needed • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Capability to stand for extended periods and work in varied environments and conditions. • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely. • Maintain a professional demeanor and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
• Ability to work with chemicals and operate under various weather conditions. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively. This position will require adherence to company dress code and participation in its safety programs.
