Paid Training - Automotive Technician Apprentice

Upon completion of our training program, you will receive the Safelite SafeTech certification, equipping you with essential skills for independent glass repair, replacement, and recalibrations.

We value a positive attitude, a caring spirit, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Your Responsibilities • Participate in hands-on and classroom training to learn the Safelite method. • Assist in installing and repairing auto glass while gaining practical experience.

• Learn to recalibrate automotive safety systems, perform troubleshooting, and complete diagnostic tests. • Study and prepare for certification exams to demonstrate your installation skills and knowledge. • Safely operate company and customer vehicles and utilize company-issued tools and chemicals.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned and adhere to all company policies and standards. What We Offer • Competitive weekly pay starting at $23.50/hour, with an increase to $27.75/hour after training and certification. • Earn $5 for each set of wiper blades added to ensure customer safety.

• All necessary tools and resources provided for your success, along with paid training. Education Requirements • High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent preferred. Experience Requirements • Must be at least 18 years old.

Skills and Abilities • Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in tight spaces. • Proficient in safely using hand and power tools.

• Possess a valid state-issued driver's license to operate company vehicles. • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain a professional image. • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
