Position: ADAS Auto Technician-Apprentice (Indianapolis, IN) Location: Indiana Position Title Automotive Technician (C) – ADAS Apprentice Technician About Dealer Tire Dealer Tire is a family‑owned, international distributor of tires and parts established in 1918 in Cleveland, OH. Base Pay Range $17.00 – $22.00 per hour. Primary Responsibilities • Prepare customer calibration quotes, including a thorough OE process review. • Under supervision of a Team Lead, complete static ADAS calibrations following company’s defined and documented calibration processes.

• Complete dynamic ADAS calibrations and verifications following company’s defined and documented calibration processes. • Provide customer information in a professional manner as required. • Prepare and transmit customer invoices, including all proper documentation.
• Maintain and repair equipment, tools, and machinery. • Calibrate and update calibration equipment. • If necessary, shuttle customer vehicles to/from center safely.
• Help maintain a clean, safe shop environment. Core Competencies • Results Orientation • Agility • Initiative • Detail‑Orientation • Critical Thinking • Problem Solving Position Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum 1‑year automotive repair experience.
• Experience in electrical system, steering, and suspension preferred. • Experience with automotive diagnostic scan tools is a plus. • Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions.
• Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement if personal vehicle used for work purposes). • Customer‑service skills, including verbal and written communication. • Ability to operate in a team environment.
• Commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry. • Professional attitude and ability to maintain a neat work environment. • Flexible work schedule.
• Meet the requirements of Motor Vehicle Record Policy and Company Vehicle Fleet Policy. Physical Job Requirements • Frequent bending and crouching. • Standing for long periods of time.

Compensation depends on qualifications, experience, and geographic location and may include commission, bonus, or profit sharing.
