Software Engineer 3

We are looking for a Software Engineer 3 to join a growing team in Hanover, Maryland.

Responsibilities • Experienced with JavaScript • Skilled in UX/UI design and implementation • Experience meeting 508 Compliance Mandates • Familiar with React, Vue 3 framework • Proficient in use of Gitlab, CI/CD, build pipelines Requirements • Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines. • An additional 4+ years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree for a total of 12 years. • 8+ years of Software Engineering experience • 3+ years work experience in the SIGINT, IA, or IT domains • US citizenship and an active security clearance required Desired Experience • Familiar with AWS tools and services • Actively participate in code reviews • The developer will introduce and incorporate software development best practices into the team’s development process • Collaborate with junior developers to improve their knowledge and experience with development best practices • Familiar with AWS tools and services • Mentor junior developers • Create and expand unit and end to end testing • Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and document test results • Experience Performing Development in the eVo environment to include familiarity and use of tools in the environment (GreyBox, Spring etc.) • Provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and requirements analysis and synthesis from the system level to individual software components • Administer, maintain, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the application • Excellent oral and written communication skills- able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts.

Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00 Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
