Skilled Labor / Carpenter

Job Description: We are seeking a dependable Carpenter / Skilled Laborer to join our commercial and residential construction team. This position is ideal for someone with carpentry experience and a broad skill set across multiple trades. Work includes new construction, renovations, and repairs on both residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities: • Perform rough and finish carpentry work • Assist with and perform tasks across multiple trades, including drywall, painting, flooring, concrete, and minor electrical or plumbing (as permitted) • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders • Frame walls, floors, and roofs • Install doors, windows, trim, cabinetry, and hardware • Demolition, site prep, and material handling • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site • Work with supervisors, subcontractors, and other crew members to complete projects on schedule Qualifications: • Experience in carpentry and general construction • Ability to work across multiple trades with minimal supervision • Knowledge of construction tools, materials, and methods • Basic understanding of building codes and job site safety • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required • Reliable transportation and valid drivers license • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in varying weather conditions Preferred (but not required): • Experience in both commercial and residential construction • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification • Ability to lead helpers or apprentices Benefits: • Competitive pay based on experience • Steady, year-round work • Opportunities for advancement • Paid time off and holidays (if applicable)
