Carpenter & Service Associate (Door & Window installation Associate) - 1st Shift Location: Chapel Hill Area Job Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire Salary: $22-28 per hour (based on experience) Are you passionate about craftsmanship and customer satisfaction? We’re looking for a Carpenter & Service Associate to join our team of professionals dedicated to delivering top-quality building products and exceptional service. In this role, you’ll work closely with consumers, builders, contractors, architects, and designers to ensure flawless installation and service of doors, windows, and specialty millwork.

Duties as a Carpenter & Service Associate: • Assist with the installation of doors & windows, product service, repairs, & fabrication whether on a job site or in Warehouse. This person will be trained to be able to perform these duties on their own.

Ensure that all products are installed in a safe and secure manner to guarantee proper performance for the life of the product. • Assist in the maintenance & cleanliness of Warehouse shop tools & machines. • Respond promptly to service requests & follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction in disputes/issues of any kind • Coordinate with vendor/manufacturer service programs.
Lead & manage subcontractors when needed for installation assistance onsite. • Conduct installation & service presentations with architects, contractors, & carpenters. • Work and communicate with coworkers, customers, and homeowners at the highest level of professionalism.
Dress professionally and appropriately for safety for job duties. • Travel to vendor workshops, training sessions, and manufacturing facilities. Continually build product knowledge and refine service and installation techniques.

Requirements for the Carpenter & Service Associate: • Clean criminal background (Unfortunately no felony convictions) • Clean Drug Screening • High School Diploma or GED • Valid Drivers License • Minimum of 1 year of carpentry apprentice or carpentry experience • Excellent communication & customer service skills Once hired on, this company provides excellent benefits which includes but is not limited to: PTO, Health insurance, & a 401K plan!
