About FusionSpan fusionSpan is a fast-growing multinational IT services company headquartered in Rockville, MD. We build custom software solutions, system integrations, and data-driven applications for our clients across industries. We’re excited to meet students at the University of Maryland Spring CS Career Fair and are building our internship pipeline for upcoming semesters and summer.

Position Overview We Are Hiring Interns Interested In: • Software Development (Java / Web Applications) • Data & Analytics (ETL / BI / Data Engineering) Interns will work alongside senior developers on real client projects involving application development, system integrations, and emerging technologies including AI and data platforms. Potential Responsibilities Software-Focused Interns May: Depending on your track and interests: • Develop custom applications (Java/APEX/web-based) • Build REST & SOAP APIs • Contribute to database-driven applications • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies • Support Salesforce and enterprise implementations Data-Focused Interns May: • Build and optimize SQL queries • Support ETL workflows • Assist with data integrations between systems • Contribute to BI dashboards and reporting solutions • Work with large datasets and data pipelines Qualifications • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field • Strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming • Experience with Java, Python, or similar languages • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases • Interest in enterprise systems and real-world client work • Experience with Agile/Scrum is a plus Compensation $15–$30 per hour depending on experience and skill level.
