Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Database Administratior Position type: Fulltime/Contract Duration: Permanent Location: Atlanta, GA (Remote) As a Database Administrator you will have the key responsibilities as follows: We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing enterprise databases. The DBA will ensure high availability, performance tuning, backup/restore, and smooth database operations across environments. Key Responsibilities • Install, configure, and maintain RDBMS/NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).

• Monitor database performance and perform tuning, indexing, and query optimization. • Manage backups, recovery, replication, failover, and DR setups. • Ensure database security, access control, and compliance.
• Support release deployments and troubleshoot database issues. • Automate routine DBA tasks and maintain documentation. The ideal candidate will have Primary Skills • Strong SQL skills and deep knowledge of at least one major DB platform.
• Experience with performance tuning, backup & recovery, and high availability. • Familiarity with Linux/Windows servers and shell scripting. • Experience with monitoring tools (OEM, Nagios, Grafana, etc.).
• Understanding of cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL) is a plus. Secondary Skills • Programming Skills: Python/Java, or Node.j for scripting and automation. • Serverless Architecture: Designing with Lambda, API Gateway, Apache Airflow.
• Cost Management: Understanding pricing models (On-Demand, Reserved, Spot) and using Cost Explorer. • Disaster Recovery & High Availability: Multi-AZ deployments, backups, and failover strategies. • Soft Skills: Communication, stakeholder management, and documentation.
