Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Title: Sheet Metal MechanicJob Description We are seeking experienced Sheet Metal Installers with 1-3 years of experience to work in Farmville, VA. The role requires candidates to bring their own hand tools to the job site and involves working on projects lasting from 6 months to a year. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements.

• Install duct work and related equipment efficiently and accurately. • Perform layout tasks for duct and equipment placement. • Measure and cut duct work using hand tools.
• Maintain and clean work areas to ensure safety and efficiency. • Lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. Essential Skills • Experience with sheet metal, HVAC, duct work, and installation.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and construction plans. • Skilled in fabrication and use of a tape measure. • Ability to perform laboring duties related to installation, maintenance, and repair of various systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications • Must be able to work with hand tools. • Ability to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently. • Reliable transportation and punctuality.
