Bring your talent and skills to Raytheon Software Engineering team! The selected candidate will intern with Raytheon during summer 2026 as part of the Raytheon Fellowship Program. About the Raytheon Fellowship Program: • Seeking students in their sophomore or junior year or seniors if pursuing a master’s.

• Upon program acceptance, participants will be submitted for a national security clearance. • Participants may be eligible to receive a $10,000 signing bonus, and an additional $10,000 signing bonus upon converting to full-time employee status post-graduation (payable within 60 days of employment and subject to all applicable withholdings). • Participants will sign an offer agreement, committing to remain with Raytheon for a minimum of two years after becoming a full-time employee.

What You Will Do: • Work as a software developer and integrator as part of a development team which utilizes a dynamic workforce, including many experts in their fields. Specific duties include: • Responsible for performing development, integration, test and documentation duties to ensure proper operation of hardware and software platforms • Integrate a wide variety of applications from various sources, integrate and ensure they meet performance standards for stability and resource utilization • Develop software as necessary to integrate between components, perform new capabilities, to facilitate testing, etc.

• Adhere to accepted standards for development, including writing unit tests which provide a high percentage of code overage, participating in code peer reviews, conducting design reviews, and generating test plans to ensure maximum stability and quality of code Qualifications You Must Have: • This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and will be at minimum Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post Grad year by summer 2026. • Software development experience with Java in a Unix/Linux environment • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
