As a Senior Network Risk Project Manager, you will: Work on medium to large-scale complex, cross-departmental projects that have a direct impact on the company. Work on coordinating and supporting small to medium-scale department projects that have a direct impact on risk operations and the company, including execution support to leadership, business and process strategy, and communications and events.

Drive cross-functional projects based on defined priorities; ensure scope of deliverables, timelines and budget are met; identify risks and issues and mitigate and / or escalate as needed; manage complex up and downstream project impacts Plan, design, manage and execute project plans to ensure delivery. This activity includes management through feasibility, design, planning and implementation Leverage problem solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation Conduct regular meetings with project team. Document progress and report to stakeholders on project status Support the project team for Governance & Committee programs in helping with project scheduling, documentation, and material organization.

Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments Assist the team and broader department with maintenance of organisational charts Identify ways to improve and streamline business process Track usage, maintain, and check adherence of team sites, documentation, file hierarchy and toolkits Exhibit a proven track record of project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage the work Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders across all levels to manage, inform, and influence outcomes Demonstrate organizational agility to adapt to changing demands Display strong consulting and collaboration skills Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience At least 3 years of Project Management experience Preferred Qualifications: Masters / MBA degree 4+ years of Project Management experience PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification Strong communication and collaboration skills Strong problem solving and influencing skills Work experience achieving results with complex projects At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, E-2, E-3, L-1 and O-1, or any EADs or other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer). Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Project Manager Riverwoods, IL: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Project Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
