Summary We are seeking a Part-time Medical Biller to join our team at Advance Spine and Pain Physical Therapy in Trenton. This role is vital in ensuring accurate and efficient billing processes that support our commitment to quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, experienced in medical billing, and familiar with insurance procedures.

Responsibilities • Process and submit insurance claims accurately using CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding. • Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies. • Invoice patients as needed.

Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation for billing purposes. • Stay updated on changes in medical coding standards and insurance policies. • Assist with patient inquiries related to billing and payments.
Cross train with receptionist and aide positions to provide coverage as needed. • Office cleaning weekly. Qualifications (not required but preferred as this is an entry level position) • Certified Medical Assistant a plus • Spanish speaking a plus • Experience in medical billing, preferably within an outpatient orthopedic setting.
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10 codes, and DRG procedures. • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems. • Knowledge of insurance claims processing and follow-up procedures.
