Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Home Care - Self Employed

Job Opportunity: Independent CNA/GNA Caregivers – Join Our Maryland Registry! At At Home Care, Inc, we are a well-established caregiver registry serving clients across Maryland for over 45 years. Our mission is to offer individuals the choice to remain in their homes with support, rather than move into a care facility.

We are currently expanding our referral registry and are seeking experienced, independent CNA/GNA caregivers who are compassionate, reliable, and have a genuine desire to support seniors and others in need of non-medical assistance. Important: This is not an offer of employment. Caregivers are referred as independent contractors and are directly engaged and paid by the client.

All caregivers must have or obtain an EIN (Employer Identification Number). Minimum Qualifications for Consideration: • Active CNA/GNA certification in Maryland • 6+ months verifiable work experience as a CNA/GNA • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or obtained within 30 days) • Minimum 6 months of experience in in-home or facility care • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation • Good communication skills and a compassionate, professional demeanor • Ability to provide services such as: Personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming), Companionship and conversation, Meal preparation, Light housekeeping, Errand support, Medication reminders and vitals monitoring Opportunities for Registry Referrals: Clients may request caregiver assistance in various schedules including: • Hourly shifts • Live-in care • 12-hour day/night shifts • Weekend or split shifts Flexibility and availability are key factors clients often look for when choosing a caregiver. Screening Requirements: To be considered for potential referrals through our registry, caregivers must: • Submit to a background check (criminal, DMV, and drug screening) • Present a valid Social Security card and government-issued photo ID • Possess or obtain an EIN (guidance provided if needed) • CNA/GNA license, CPR certification Why Join Our Registry?
