We are seeking WorkDay Platform Engineers who are passionate about developing highly-resilient, fundamentally-sound objects to support the core Finance technology driving Capital One. You will champion automation of functional and technical processes and bring your expertise to drive innovative solutions.

General Responsibilities: Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios Understand and translate the priorities of the business while integrating Finance value proposition and strategies to meet the needs of the business Deliver solutions in Workday platform across the Finance modules of General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments and Suppliers through efficient and organized processes while maintaining high standards Effectively communicate across team, Product Owner, stakeholders and influence solutions across business partners Identify opportunities for process improvements, collaborate with Finance partners to provide innovative ideas and insights to redesign business processes that will optimize business results. Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on Workday Technology & Platform updates, fixes and capabilities Build & maintain thorough documentation for system implementation & maintenance Primary contact for questions related to how the system works from a business and a technical perspective Provide production support for Workday by troubleshooting problems, testing, and working with the business to resolve issues Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification At least 4 years of Workday platform engineering experience At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 5+ years of experience working with Workday platform across the Workday Finance modules (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments and Suppliers) 3+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday 3+ years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP Workday Integration Developer certifications 1+ years designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure or another cloud service 2+ years of experience in Agile practices At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (i.e. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, E-2, E-3, L-1 and O-1, or any EADs or other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer).

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Cambridge, MA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Senior Platform Engineer Chicago, IL: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform Engineer McLean, VA: $131,300 - $149,800 for Senior Platform Engineer New York, NY: $143,200 - $163,500 for Senior Platform Engineer Plano, TX: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform Engineer Richmond, VA: $119,400 - $136,200 for Senior Platform Engineer San Francisco, CA: $143,200 - $163,500 for Senior Platform Engineer San Jose, CA: $143,200 - $163,500 for Senior Platform Engineer Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
