If so, this might be the role for you! We are a Spend Processing Solutions and own Capital One capabilities related to processing credit card issuer authorization transactions.

While we’ve traditionally relied on third party vendors to process these transactions, we’re hard at work building out the future of Capital One authorization processing technology. Freed from the constraints of our legacy vendor solution limitations, Capital One will unlock tremendous value through richer payment network data, a fully in-house authorization processing integration with our next-gen decisioning capabilities, and data processing flows that power real-time, intelligent customer experiences. We’re looking for a highly skilled Product Manager with strong cross-functional problem solving and transformational leadership competencies to: Drive the Discover Network integration program to completion on our legacy vendor platform while partnering closely with Spend Processing Solutions stakeholders (and beyond) to deliver a well-managed migration to the target state Spend Processing Solutions platform.

Cultivate a deep, horizontal understanding of payments product strategy, credit intent, upstream and downstream payment lifecycle processes, decisioning technology, controls, and customer-facing experiences that are impacted by credit card issuer authorization transaction processing flows or data. Contribute to and deliver on a product roadmap that works backwards from those stakeholders needs as we support the Discover Program. Oversee an agile delivery operational model with our external vendor in partnership with internal tech and system integration team resources Enable refinement, execution, and adoption of automated testing capabilities and data governance strategies that reduce manual effort and increase the likelihood of detecting intent or execution errors prior to a customer impact.

Ensure Capital One remains in good standing with payment networks by supporting thorough impact assessments and change validations for semi-annual and ad-hoc issuer compliance workstreams. Capital One Product Framework In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management: Human Centered - Obsesses about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions Business Focused - Delivers game-changing outcomes by focusing on leverage and execution excellence Technology Driven - Leverages technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term value Integrated Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks Transformational Leadership - Leads cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment Basic Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration Preferred Qualifications: Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 for Manager, Product Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
