Sheet Metal Mechanic

Job Title: Sheet Metal Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a Sheet Metal Mechanic with 1-3 years of experience to join our project in Richmond, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including reading blueprints, installing material, and working on projects with durations ranging from 6 months to a year. Candidates are required to bring their own hand tools to the job site.

Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements. • Install duct work and related equipment efficiently and accurately. • Perform layout tasks for duct and equipment placement.

• Measure and cut duct work using hand tools. • Maintain and clean work areas to ensure safety and efficiency. • Lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Essential Skills • Experience in sheet metal, HVAC, and duct work. • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. • Ability to install and fabricate duct work.

• Skilled in the use of hand tools and tape measures. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Perform laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of systems and equipment. • Ability to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
