Full-Time Commercial/Residential Electrical Apprentice

Now Hiring - Commercial / Residential Electrical Apprentice - CB Chandler Electrical Division Join one of Richmond’s most trusted multi faceted construction firms as an Electrical Apprentice in our Electrical division. We are looking for an electrical apprentice that is ready to get on the job site, learn the trade and immediately step into a role that gives them the opportunity to pursue a career as an electrician. CB Chandler Companies operates three primary divisions: Electrical, Commercial Roofing and full scale design/build Construction services specializing in high-end residential renovations and additions.

Our Electrical division excels in both large scale commercial projects and residential. Primary Responsibilities: • Assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems in Commercial and Residential settings, adhering to NEC standards. • Utilize hand and power tools, including voltmeters and ohmmeters, to perform electrical tasks. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate wiring and cabling.

• Collaborate with experienced electricians on renovation projects and ensure compliance with safety regulations. • Gain hands-on experience in both low and high voltage systems on construction sites. Candidate Qualifications (must be familiar with these topics and meet personal requirements listed): • Hanging and installation of different types of light fixtures • Installing, maintaining, and repairing of electrical systems such as: panels, lighting, outlets, and switches • Conduit bending and installation, running branch circuits, installation of PVC conduit, MC cable • General knowledge of the NEC • Residential renovations • Personal and reliable transportation to and from jobs • Basic electrical hand tools, battery powered drill • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
