We are seeking aSummerintern to join our team.This is a full-time, 10-week internship that will begin in early June and conclude by mid-August. Work may be performed remotely from any U.S. location, or hybrid from our Reston, VA headquarters.

At this time, we are unable to offer relocationnorhousing assistance.Pay is expected to be $23/hour for undergraduate interns. As a member of our team, theSummer Internwill: • Participate in thedesign and implementation ofinnovative solutions that address complex problems usingcutting-edgetechnologies. • Research and evaluate new AI techniques and technologies.

• Document and present the results and findings of AI projects. • Work withdevelopmentteam togather business requirements and translatethemto technical requirements. • Partner with a team of experts in AI, machine learning, and natural language processing to develop and implement solutions to meet business needs.
• Participate in Scrumprocessto implement solutions in an agile manner. • Provide support toseniordevelopers bycoding,data gathering, and testing as needed. MinimumQualifications: • At least 30completedcollege-level credit hours(preferablyin Computer Science, Engineering, or relatedfields).

Preferred Qualifications: • An understanding ofgeneral applicationprogramming and database conceptsincluding. • Familiarity with the SDLC concepts and Agile/Scrum project methodologies. • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLM) and Retrieval Augmented Generative AI (RAG) • Experience/exposure to two or more of thebelow: • .NET - Core, Framework • Python -LangChain, Pinecone, OpenAI, Claude,LangGraph, Azure OpenAI,Ollama • JavaScript - Angular, React, Vue • Database - SQL, mongo, cosmos (or some combination of structured and unstructured) • Azure - Web Apps, Containers, Storage, OpenAI, Cognitive Services (or comparable AWS/GCP) Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is: $34,564.00 - $58,758.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
