Duties • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary. • Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Support medical procedures by preparing patients and assisting healthcare professionals with tasks like catheter care, wound care, or specimen collection such as phlebotomy. • Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, ensuring a safe and supportive environment that promotes memory care and behavioral health management. • Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infectious diseases in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Document patient information thoroughly using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks to ensure accurate medical records and continuity of care. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in various settings including acute care units such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers, outpatient clinics, or home & community care environments to deliver comprehensive patient service. Qualifications • Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is highly preferred. • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS). • Prior experience in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU or trauma centers), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or hospice care is advantageous.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; experience with medical documentation is a plus. • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting patients using Hoyer lifts and standing for extended periods. • Strong communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to work effectively within a team.
