Junior WordPress Full Stack Web Developer

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled WordPress Full Stack Web Developer to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust WordPress websites and applications, ensuring seamless integration with various backend systems and APIs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to deliver exceptional digital experiences. • Develop, customize, and optimize WordPress themes and plugins to enhance website functionality and user experience • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate design mockups into fully functional websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP • Integrate third-party APIs and RESTful services to extend website capabilities and streamline data flow • Manage version control using GitHub and SVN to ensure code integrity and facilitate team collaboration • Implement security best practices, including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control), to protect sensitive data and user information • Optimize website performance through caching strategies, database tuning (MySQL), and code refactoring • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all development activities and system configurations • Proven experience in web development with a strong focus on WordPress platform customization and plugin development • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles • Solid understanding of back-end programming languages including PHP, Python, C#, C++, Java, and Ruby on Rails for application development • Familiarity with IT infrastructure components like AWS, Azure, Linux servers, and cloud deployment strategies • Experience working with RESTful APIs, JSON/XML data formats, and integrating external services into web applications • Knowledge of database management systems including MySQL and SQL for efficient data retrieval and storage • Experience with version control systems such as Git (GitHub) and SVN for collaborative development workflows • Understanding of Agile methodologies to support iterative development cycles • Exposure to software engineering principles like application security (RBAC), REST architecture style, and quantum engineering concepts is a plus • Ability to develop using .NET framework or Application development environments such as VBA or VBA scripting is advantageous • Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React Express for building interactive user interfaces Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins • Build responsive, high-performance front-end interfaces • Develop and maintain backend services and APIs • Integrate third-party APIs, services, and tools • Optimize websites for performance, security, and scalability • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues • Collaborate with designers, project managers, and stakeholders • Follow best practices for code quality, version control, and documentation Required Qualifications • Proven experience as a WordPress Full Stack Developer • Strong proficiency with WordPress (core, themes, plugins, REST API) • Experience with React.js, Node.js, Vue.js, and other modern JavaScript frameworks • Familiarity with Flutter and cross-platform development (preferred) • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL • Experience with RESTful APIs and backend development • Understanding of web security best practices • Experience using Git or other version control systems Security & Eligibility Requirements (Mandatory) • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Must be able to pass a Public Trust Level 4 background check, including: • Credit check • Criminal background check • Drug screening Preferred Qualifications • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines • Knowledge of headless WordPress architectures • Familiarity with government or regulated-industry projects Soft Skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines • High attention to detail Join us if you’re passionate about pushing the boundaries of web technology!
