A growing government and defense technology startup based in Washington, D.C. is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to help build and deploy secure, mission-critical software used across federal and national security environments. The team operates at the intersection of modern software engineering and high-compliance missions, delivering fast, reliable solutions in support of defense and intelligence.

This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in early-stage environments, and enjoys owning features end-to-end in secure cloud environments. Engineers collaborate closely with technical leaders and mission stakeholders, move quickly without sacrificing quality, and have a direct impact on real-world government and defense operations. • *Candidates must currently hold an Active TS/SCI Clearance or higher (or have SCI eligibility)** What You’ll Do • Design, build, and deploy secure full-stack applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Python) • Develop and maintain backend systems, data pipelines, and workflow automation • Engineer integrations across diverse platforms and cloud environments • Collaborate with engineers, stakeholders, and end users to turn mission needs into technical solutions • Deploy and support applications in secure or restricted environments • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts What You’ll Bring • 3+ years of experience in full-stack software development • Strong backend and data integration experience • Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerized environments (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines • A mission-driven mindset and comfort working in fast-moving, high-ownership environments • Familiarity with Palantir Foundry, TAK, or similar defense technology platforms Nice to Have • Experience working in regulated, secure, or compliance-heavy environments • Exposure to large-scale data platforms or defense-focused software ecosystems This is a hybrid role - Candidates MUST be located in the Washington D.C.
