COMPANY BENEFITS • FREE WELLNESS PLAN • Health Insurance • Health Gap Insurance • Cancer Plan • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • 401K Retirement Plan Offered by John Hancock • Identity and Fraud Protection • Term Life Insurance with AD&D • ($50,000 paid by Company) • Disability Insurance (STD & LTD) • Pet Insurance • Paid Holidays • Vacation Pay • Birthday Pay RESPONSIBILITIES • Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing • Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs • Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned • Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs • Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards • Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs efficiently by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions • Follows all shop policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules • Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required • Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS • High school diploma or GED required • Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience • Two years of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred • ASE certification (or is willing to obtain certification) • Virginia State Inspection License (or is willing to obtain license) • Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge • Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record • Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress • Highly professional and dependable • Safety and customer service-oriented • Basic computer and internet skills • Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is an in-person position and your attendance is required in order to maintain employment.
