About the Team As a product manager within the Card Data team, you'll be responsible for building a trusted, authoritative data ecosystem that serves the needs of both data producers and consumers across our Card organization.

You'll work closely with a wide range of teams to understand their requirements to improve the trust of their data , identify pain points, and define the product strategy. Your focus will be on creating products and experiences that make it easier for teams to produce, manage and use authoritative data. You'll be a key driver in shaping our data vision and ensuring our data assets are accurate, accessible, and high-quality.

As a core part of your role, you'll also collaborate with Enterprise Platform teams. Together, you'll co-develop and enhance existing platforms, ensuring our solutions are integrated seamlessly and leverage enterprise-wide capabilities. This partnership will be critical in scaling our data ecosystem and delivering robust, sustainable solutions for the entire organization.

As a strategic lead for Card Data Observability, you will be responsible for creating best-in-class user experiences. Your primary focus will be on our most critical data pipelines, including Discover Data integration, Data Products, and Model Ready Data, to build scalable observability capabilities that meet needs across Card Data. The goal is to ensure prioritized use cases can quickly onboard to observability tooling without increasing time to market, enabling rapid detection, notification, and resolution of data issues critical to their domain.

General Responsibilities: • Set product vision and lead road mapping, goal setting, prioritizing, capability delivery, and product roll-out strategy to meet critical business milestones • Continually drive to understand customer needs and ensure they are considered in prioritization and trade-off discussions • Develop and lead customer research, prototyping, and test and learn agendas with a focus on building MVP experiences to learn about hypotheses • Direct world-class engineering teams to build high-availability, real-time systems that process millions of offers a year • Build and maintain strong relationships and feedback loops with leaders and stakeholders across Card prioritized use cases and eData teams Capital One Product Framework In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management: Human Centered - Obsesses about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions Business Focused - Delivers game-changing outcomes by focusing on leverage and execution excellence Technology Driven - Leverages technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term value Integrated Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks Transformational Leadership - Leads cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment Basic Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with data-related products and platforms At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $200,700 - $229,100 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management New York, NY: $219,000 - $249,900 for Sr.

Mgr, Product Management Richmond, VA: $182,500 - $208,300 for Sr. Mgr, Product Management Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
