This is a great opportunity to start a career in metalworking and gain valuable skills in both welding and machining. _This is a Contract position._ • *Responsibilities:** + Assist in basic welding tasks including MIG and TIG welding under supervision + Operate and maintain basic machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders + Read and interpret technical drawings + Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other tools + Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding or machining + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment + Support senior welders and machinists with daily tasks and projects • *Qualifications:** + High school diploma or GED preferred + No prior welding or machining experience required (willing to train) + Basic math and measurement skills + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods + Willingness to learn and take direction + Strong attention to detail and safety • *_Pay Range:_** _$18.00 - $26.00 per hour_ Applicants must be either a U.S.
