Join BAE Systems as a Software Engineering Intern II, developing software solutions for aerospace and defense in southern New Hampshire. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Designing, developing, and testing software solutions using Agile methodologies and sound software engineering principles. • Assisting in integration testing, algorithm and data analysis, software troubleshooting, and documentation preparation.

Utilizing Windows PC or Linux development environments and x86 or PowerPC target/test environments. • Participating in BAE Systems' nationwide LEAP Internship & Co-op Program for career development and networking. • Working onsite at BAE Systems facilities in Nashua, Hudson, Manchester, or Merrimack, NH.

About You The company is looking for: • Currently enrolled undergraduate student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, completing sophomore year before summer 2026. • Programming experience in one or more of the following: C, C++, Java, Python. • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Self-motivated with ability to work independently. • Eligibility for a US Department of Defense security clearance and US Person status.

Compensation & Benefits • Full-time salary range: $45,553 - $63,330, based on market pay structures and candidate qualifications. • Temporary employees working 20+ hours/week eligible for medical benefits, employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance. • Temporary employees may participate in the 401(k) savings plan.
