Certified Nursing Assistant (Monday - Friday: 6am to 8am)

Duties • Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity. • Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately. • Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA and medical records standards.

• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, utilizing techniques like memory care strategies and aseptic techniques. • Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe transfer of patients while adhering to safety protocols. • Maintain infection control standards by practicing proper hand hygiene and infection prevention procedures in accordance with hospital policies.

Skills • Proven experience in diverse healthcare environments including hospital medicine, long-term care, assisted living, hospice care, or outpatient clinics. • Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation. • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) to support effective patient care.

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges, including dementia and behavioral health needs. • Ability to perform phlebotomy procedures and catheter care when required; understanding of aseptic techniques essential for infection control. • Strong caregiving skills demonstrated through experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, home & community care or sub-acute settings.
• Competence in vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and patient service across inpatient and outpatient environments.
