About the Team VNDLY is a next-generation vendor management SaaS platform crafted for procurement executives, talent acquisition teams, suppliers and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to collaborate on the corporation's contingent workforce needs.

We develop cloud software that helps our customers streamline the talent sourcing and acquisition process across different sources including staffing agencies, job boards and freelance management systems. We want our software to be so easy to use, our company name is short for "Vendor Friendly". At VNDLY, our software does all of the work for the client, putting algorithms and data science to work in acquiring the right talent (Contractors or Full-time employees) and incorporating dashboards to provide complete transparency of the talent acquisition process.

About the Role We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to work as a part of our software engineering team, as we craft, implement and maintain scalable, configurable software solutions. You must be positive, diligent and possess strong analytical skills. Together we will have the opportunity to challenge development assumptions to reduce the risk of poor user experience.

You will take ownership of the test inventory to build, modify and maintain robust efficient test cases, end to end test strategy, test plans, and regression tests for our product. We will work together to find opportunities to automate workflows to increase reliability and predictability. You will help the team triage bugs and product issues.

You will build and maintain your own test environment and test data when required. As a quality advocate you will promote testing guidelines, methodologies, and standards for VNDLY. We believe Quality Assurance Engineers like you can provide the team a valuable perspective from the beginning of the software development process!

About You Basic Qualifications: 8+ years experience in software quality assurance engineering, defining test strategies, leading testing efforts, and ensuring high-quality software releases. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. Other Qualifications: B.S.

in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Management Information Systems Clear understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes. Ability to drive projects forward with limited oversight and good sense of ownership. Contribute to scope definition, effort estimation, test prioritization, and test data/environment management.

Work effectively with cross-functional teams like Development and Product Management to integrate QA throughout the lifecycle. Ensure thoroughness in test design, data management, regression checks, and defect analysis to meet specific business requirements. Strong ability to resolve software issues through debugging.

Experience understanding and testing with (Application Programming Interfaces) APIs. Experience testing relational and non-relational databases. Experience understanding, documenting, and testing with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to ensure seamless back-end integration.

Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines to support automated quality checks within the development lifecycle. General Understanding of test frameworks, programming languages, and automation libraries (e.g. Selenium, CodeceptJS, JUnit, Jest, Javascript) Familiarity with Cloud Service Providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote.
