The Counterparty Restitution team within Discover's Global Payment Network drives analyses to help key stakeholders understand the assumptions and mechanics of the gross methodology, which is the methodology used to calculate restitution amount. The team works closely with CRP Strategy team, direct settlement team and execution team to provide data insights to firm up the key operational considerations of the program, including determine opt-out settlement amounts and support MID allocation requirements and MID allocation data model. The CRP team also collaborates with data management team define data layer requirements to track KPIs related to counterparty restitution.

As the data solution-er for restitution, CRP team will create visualized monitoring reports to track key metrics for restitution and monitor the payment amount, as well as develop self-service dashboards including merchant overview and gap analysis to provide business partners the analytics insights. Possessing strong problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities in addition to communication, interpersonal and leadership skills are also important.

This position will be in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment where you will be handling multiple concurrent projects while working independently and in teams. This role will have a strong Business Intelligence component and those with a BI background are strongly encouraged to apply. Basic Qualifications: Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a: Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field) plus at least 6 years of experience performing data analytics, or Master’s Degree plus at least 4 years of experience performing data analytics with an expectation that required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date.

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Data Analysis Manager New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Data Analysis Manager Riverwoods, IL: $149,800 - $171,000 for Data Analysis Manager Chicago, IL: $149,800 - $171,000 for Data Analysis Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
