We’re looking for a talented and collaborative ethics and compliance leader to serve as Senior Corporate Counsel leading our third-party anti-corruption efforts, reporting to our Senior Director of Global Ethics & Integrity. We expect this leader to be a strong manager of people, with an ability to see the big picture, paint a vision, ensure alignment across a frequently shifting organization, and scale compliance programs in a complex environment. In addition to being able to forge strong support at senior leadership levels for the program, this individual will have deep program design knowledge and experience with a distributed sales model.

This hire will work out of one of the listed locations on a hybrid schedule, 3 days a week. Responsibilities With oversight from the Senior Director, Anti-Corruption for the Office of Global Ethics & Integrity: Design, manage and enhance anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies, programs, and controls Oversee and enhance third-party due diligence and life cycle management Provide legal advisory and practical counsel to business stakeholders on third party risks in the context of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), UK Bribery Act (UKBA), and local anti-corruption laws Oversee compliance audit program and audits of high-risk third parties Work with channel business and operations teams to mitigate risks and assist with risk forecasting Work closely with cross-functional legal teams, sales teams, and business operations teams to design and adapt third-party programs and processes in new global markets Pioneer AI-driven solutions to manage third-party risk and drive global operational efficiency with a focus on scaling Serve as M&A interface for the function during both acquisition and integration phases Implement and oversee the company’s AML program Develop and lead trainings, policy rollouts, and compliance reviews globally on an as-needed basis Lead and mentor a diverse team of compliance professionals, fostering a high-performance, inclusive culture Required Skills/Experience 8-10+ years experience, with experience advising on third-party corruption risks and program design Strong preference for in-house work experience; work in the tech sector a plus Strategic and operational vision for developing a world-class third-party ethics and compliance program Deep knowledge of and experience advising on the FCPA, UKBA, and other anti-corruption laws Experience interacting with US or international government agencies, either as defense counsel or line prosecutor in enforcement actions Proven leadership experience, including supervising and mentoring compliance professionals with a range of educational backgrounds and skill sets Skilled at building cross-functional collaboration, and influencing and aligning diverse business partners around compliance risks and solutions Experience advising on compliance tool development for a large enterprise; experience with AI a plus Analytical mindset with impeccable attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication abilities A proactive, self-starter nature and “can-do” attitude Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding work environment A flexible approach and willingness to engage in real-time collaboration with business partners and team members in varying geographies Some amount of travel required (approximately 5%) Juris Doctor degree and admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction We have a public-facing website https://salesforcebenefits.com/ that explains our various benefits, including medical, dental, 401k, ESPP, generous parental leave, adoption assistance, fertility benefits, and more.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $197,300 - $313,700 annually.

The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
