Business Manager- BC&P Product Portfolio Strategy & Insights Summary: As a Business Analysis Manager at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major product challenges.. General Responsibilities: Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions: engage in root cause and stakeholder analysis, generate and evaluate solutions, and close loops with implementation and monitoring.

Lead and facilitate short and long term strategic engagements with cross-functional teams to address specific technology, architecture, and program challenges. Drive high-impact program decisions and ensure broad alignment on key program objectives. Change Management: Lead analysis and recommendations for strategic shifts to overall program scope working in close partnership with Product, Tech, and Finance.

Execution: Oversee multiple projects and programs concurrently. Partnership: Work closely with technology, product, architecture, and enterprise platform teams to drive scalable solutions and strategic program decisioning. Strategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.

Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation, given that a large part of the business is based on rigorous analytic marketing & credit risk management Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills Clear results orientation: display an intense focus on achieving both short and long term goals. He/she should be able to drive and execute an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment. Previous consulting experience is a plus.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100 for Business Manager New York, NY: $179,700 - $205,100 for Business Manager Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000 for Business Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
