MALE CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

```PART TIME… WEEKENDS ONLY Duties: - Provide direct patient care - Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse - Assist with wound care and suture removal - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans - Document patient information in electronic medical records systems, such as Epic or eClinicalWorks - Provide care for patients across various age groups, including pediatrics and geriatrics - Assist with ambulation and transfer of patients using proper body mechanics and lifting techniques - Perform basic airway management procedures Requirements: - Valid certification as a nursing assistant or completion of a nursing assistant training program - Knowledge of medical terminology and basic patient care techniques - Experience in an assisted living or long-term care facility is preferred - Proficient in using electronic medical records systems, such as Epic or eClinicalWorks - Ability to lift and move patients with proper body mechanics and lifting techniques - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a healthcare team - Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
