In this role, you will work on Missionforce, Salesforce products supporting mission-critical work across the U.S.

Department of Defense, the Intelligence Community, Aerospace, and Allied Nations. You will help create new design patterns and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to bring bold ideas to life. You will lead the team in shaping and articulating a compelling product vision, applying expert visualization skills, thought leadership, and close partnership with product and technology leaders.

You will immerse yourself in the full end-to-end experience design process, from storyboards and journey maps to high-fidelity mockups and functional prototypes. You’ll direct the team in crafting and articulating the product vision, requiring expert visualization skills, thought leadership, and the ability to work closely with product and technology partners. You’ll immerse yourself in all aspects of end-to-end experience design, from storyboards and journey maps to high-fidelity mockups and functional prototypes.

Mission Impact: Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices. Experimental Mindset (Plus): Experience or a strong interest in leveraging AI tools (like Cursor, Replit, or LLMs) to explore, prototype, or automate design workflows. Prototyping & Curiosity: A track record of going beyond static mocks to explore how emerging tech can solve user problems.

Systems Thinking: Ability to step back and see a project’s larger ecosystem, with a focus on solutions that improve the entire user flow, not just a single feature. Strategic Influence: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, persuade others, and build consensus on projects with varying degrees of ambiguity. Craft & Visual Excellence: Expert knowledge of current design tools such as Figma, along with an ability to quickly learn and adopt new tools as they emerge.

Communication: Strong active listening skills with an ability to build close, trusting relationships across Engineering and Product Management. Ethics & Equality: An internal compass that points toward ethics, ensuring AI-driven experiences are designed with responsibility and inclusivity at the core. Required Qualifications: 10+ years of experience designing and delivering products from start to finish as part of a cross-functional team.

Experience working in or adjacent to secure environments. Ability to travel as needed to customer sites. Must be a U.S.

citizen (U.S. born or naturalized) living on U.S. soil who does not hold dual citizenship with the ability to meet customer and government screening standards applicable to this role.

Active Top Secret clearance required; TS/SCI preferred Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), or Federal Civilian agencies. Background in defense/aerospace industries or operational military/logistics experience.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $197,300 - $313,700 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $237,700 - $344,700 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
