Certified Nursing Assistant

Duties • Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary • Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature; accurately document findings in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner • Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper techniques and adherence to HIPAA regulations and aseptic procedures • Assist with specialized care needs including dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, behavioral health support, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care, ICU, emergency medicine, post-acute care, hospice, or long-term care settings to deliver comprehensive patient service • Maintain infection control standards through proper use of PPE and aseptic techniques; participate in infection prevention protocols for infectious disease care • Operate medical equipment such as catheters, IV pumps, and monitors; assist with phlebotomy procedures when trained and certified Requirements • Valid CNA certification from an accredited program; current state licensure required • Experience working in diverse healthcare environments including hospitals (Level I Trauma Center preferred), nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical documentation practices • Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms for accurate record keeping • Prior experience in critical care areas such as ICU or Level II trauma centers is highly desirable • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting patients using Hoyer lifts and standing for extended periods • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and provide compassionate patient service Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence in patient care!
