This paid apprenticeship is designed to build your technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of building systems in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Responsibilities • Assist senior technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems. • Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as pipe threading, pipe fitting, and system assembly.

• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support system troubleshooting and installation. • Support on construction sites by performing carpentry, remodeling, and general site preparation activities. • Conduct routine inspections of HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical components to identify issues early.
• Learn to operate welding equipment and other specialized tools necessary for system repairs. • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and assist with basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates. Qualifications • Prior experience or familiarity with construction work or construction plumbing is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, schematics, blueprint reading, and HVAC principles is a plus. • Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding, pipe threading, and assembly enhances your application. • Strong interest in learning about plumbing, HVAC systems, maintenance practices, and construction site safety.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions carefully while working efficiently in a team environment. • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and understanding technical specifications. • Handyman experience or involvement in remodeling projects can be advantageous.
