The Enterprise Tech Analytics team brings data, analytics, and insights to shape critical technology decisions and strategy at Capital One. We work closely with Technology leaders and senior executives in shaping strategic direction, automating real-time data and improving data based decision-making. The team is composed of people with diverse skills and backgrounds including: data analysts, data scientists, consultants and strategists, data engineers, machine learning engineers, and business analysts.

General Responsibilities: Strategic problem solving: Identify high impact opportunities to transform the associate experience, conduct analysis, and share insights that inform solutions Design: Drive and build key programs and analytics solutions for our partners, including measurement strategy, attribution modeling, and automated insights Experimentation: Partner with clients in experiment design to better understand key drivers of associate behavior Insights & analysis: Analyze the impact of our programs and combine those insights with the latest thinking in organizational science to help our clients make data-driven, informed decisions Develop the Team: Direct work and mentor the more junior associates on the team. You will play a critical role in professional growth and improving problem-solving, analytical skills, and communication. Conceptual thinking skills must be complemented by a strong quantitative orientation. Identify opportunities for improvement and use data to make strategic and tactical recommendations Execution: Develop and test hypotheses, design solutions, assess operational feasibility, support implementation efforts, and develop plans and tools for monitoring outcomes Partnership: Collaborate effectively with other team members and Tech leaders Results focus: Drives for results and achieves important goals applying strong organizational skills and detail orientation, even amidst ambiguity Solid people leadership experience: Ability to build and leverage the capabilities of a high-performing team, as well as business partners across the enterprise. They should foster innovation, drive critical decisions, hold business partners accountable, and be able to consistently deliver results Strong executive communication skills: Impeccable written and oral communication credentials, coupled with strategic influencing skills and the ability to drive agreement through intellect, interpersonal and negotiation skills Successful track record of thriving in a fast paced, entrepreneurial and dynamic environment.

Previous consulting experience is a plus Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree At least 4 years of experience performing quantitative analysis At least 4 years of experience performing qualitative analysis At least 2 years of experience performing people management At least 2 years of experience performing project management Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree 2+ years of experience in financial services 1+ year of experience in consulting Capital One will consider sponsoring a new qualified applicant for employment authorization for this position. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. McLean, VA: $230,400 - $263,000 for Business Director New York, NY: $251,400 - $286,900 for Business Director Plano, TX: $209,500 - $239,100 for Business Director Richmond, VA: $209,500 - $239,100 for Business Director Riverwoods, IL: $209,500 - $239,100 for Business Director Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
